• Only a small number of physicians performing hair transplantations in the United States are formally trained in a residency in the art of hair transplantation. Dr. McAndrews was formally trained at USC/LAC Medical Center and is involved in every step of the FUE & FUT hair transplant process (therefore he only performs one FUE or FUT hair transplant a day).
• There are very few physicians around the world that are bestowed the honor of being on faculty at a major university medical center in the United States teaching their residents the art of FUE and FUT hair transplantations.  Dr. McAndrews is a Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Medical Center (the largest hospital in the western United States) teaching the residents the latest advances and the art of FUE & FUT hair transplantations.
• Only a handful of physicians in the world have been selected by major pharmaceutical companies to lecture to other physicians throughout the world on hair loss, hair transplantations, hair restoration.  Dr. McAndrews has lectured across the globe for major pharmaceutical companies on hair loss, FUE & FUT hair transplants, and hair restorations. He has also authored numerous chapters in the major text books on hair loss, hair transplants, and hair restorations.

Dr. McAndrews credentials speak for themselves and he is a respected worldwide authority on hair loss, FUE & FUT hair transplants, and hair restorations. The respect of his peers has bestowed on him the title of being the President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ABHRS) and he wrote the recertification exam that every Diplomate of the ABHRS must take to become recertified. He has also been bestowed the position of Treasurer, Executive Committee, Board of Directors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). He will be President of the ISHRS in 2020.
